Corner Hutch

Today I feel like showing you how my rickety old corner hutch recently added to the garage entryway is coming along in terms of being accessorized! This room is heavy on the pink and the pastels due to the happiness that these colors give me! You can see that my fellow blonde, Bridget Jones, also enjoys the soft pastel colors as evidenced by the way she gravitates toward this striped Dash and Albert rug for her many daily naps.

The hutch is housing several rabbits from my vast rabbit collection as well as Smith and Hawken baskets which hold things like scissors, post-its, and tape. You can see that I haven't let up on my mini chalkboard label making one bit. I just keep cranking these things out!

Also on display is the adorable picture calendar that my brother and sister-in-law sent to Mr. Z. I presume that they thought he might take it to the office with him since it was his B-Day gift. I was looking for a reason to keep this calendar for myself and my guy made it pretty easy to find one!!!  Mr. Z.  lost all rights to the calendar in about two seconds after opening it when he casually mentioned how much I have aged since some of the earlier shots. So it is mine now, fair and square, and I just love it! Thank you Stevie and Carolyn!

Blast him!;o) That was suppose to be a reminder of why he works so hard each day (although I'm sure he needs not be reminded about his beautiful wife and children but alas)and a chance to smile in the midst of hecticness :o) But I guess it's ok that it's in the entryway at home instead ;o)
And my dear, you keep getting better with age! xoxo

I love Dash and Albert and have one of their neat carpet bags. I also have a huge rabbit collection. I've had to cut back because it's become embarrassing.

I just discovered your blog. I love your random posts and your crazy sense of humor. I'm going to go back, read your first post and work my way forwards. Thanks for adding this bright spot to my day!
